Cuz it was during the eid time we change our old clothes for new ones,
An opportunity!
Life is a series of transactions, true!
And it was during the eid time,where i deposited my old cloths
and withdrew the new ones
Its when we get to see the friends we were too busy to look for,
find the time to call old friends and send greetings to them
Cuz when the eid came,
free-fair it didnt signify the end of the day
the eid starts with the early morning fast
and ends with the yummy yummy taste
set down on a super lovely plate
its when we get see the family
and remember old friends
the friends whose parent has decided to send them
to different schools
but during the eid time, we all pray on the same ground
Man, i love the Eid time
cuz for 48 hours, it would hold me and not let me go,
the eid day is my best friend
at times we are so close that we make other days jealous
but i guess all days are not meant to last
and all days are meant to be appreciated
you BETRAY the Eid day if u don't take full advantage of it,
so when the eid time holds out its hand,
make sure you grip it firmly
cuz you never know the LAST ONE for you
and i guess thats the beauty of it,
cuz life can change in moments, in seconds
and in one EID.
